The frame is the load-bearing structure of a machine. It is the essential component for any means of transport, work machinery, or simple machine tool. To build a solid machine, it is essential that the frame be strong.
This is why we at MP-HT have chosen to build the frame of all our sweepers in metal, avoiding the use of rotational molding of plastic material.
Saving on raw materials and production lowers the initial cost but increases the long-term cost
To reduce production costs, plastic material frames made with rotational molding are frequently used. This choice allows for mass production of a large number of frames in less time.
The initial cost of the sweeper produced in this manner will certainly be lower, but so will the structural solidity and mechanical resistance to various types of stress. Over time, the sweeper will require more maintenance and will break more easily.
Furthermore, in case of failure, a rotationally molded plastic frame does not allow for modifications or intervention in case of breakage. If you encounter a failure, the sweeper will be difficult to repair, probably beyond salvage.
The Advantages of the Metal Frame in MP-HT Sweepers

Building our sweepers with a metal frame provides two fundamental advantages:

Modifications and Customization
Steel, in addition to being a very strong material, is also very ductile. During the machine assembly phase, the metal frame allows us to make modifications and reinforce certain parts of the machine that are particularly stressed in specific situations.
The metal frame allows us to customize the sweepers, so we can adapt the machine to the specific needs of our customers, and ensure that those who use it will feel comfortable.
We were able to respond to a request from a company that asked us to adapt the machine because the person who would use it, due to a hip problem, would have difficulty getting on it.
We therefore intervened by installing a support base in the machine frame that would allow the operator to get on without effort. This would not have been possible with a plastic frame which, once molded, cannot be drilled to install supports or modified in any way, because otherwise it would break.
95% Recyclable Sweepers
The steel of the frame, which is a 100% recyclable material, represents a fundamental component of our MP-HT sweepers.
Steel can be recycled infinitely without losing its properties and characteristics, making it one of the most sustainable and efficient materials to reuse.
In addition to steel, almost all other parts of which the sweepers are made can be recovered and recycled, which means that one of our sweepers is 95% recyclable. This offers a great advantage when the need to dispose of the sweeper arises.
It is also an aspect of primary importance for those who, like us, deal with cleaning, because recycling:
- prevents the waste of potentially useful materials,
- ensures greater sustainability in the production cycle,
- reduces the consumption of raw materials, energy use, and associated greenhouse gas emissions.
